Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Instacar ("Instacar," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Instacar mobile application and associated services (the "App" or "Instacar"), a platform for automotive enthusiasts to share photos and discuss their vehicles. Instacar has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. This document sets out our published standards regarding CSAE, consistent with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and the Tech Coalition's Child Safety Standards.

1. Age Restriction

Instacar is intended for use by adults only. Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use any feature of the App. Instacar does not knowingly permit minors to register for or use the App, and account creation requires confirmation that the user meets this age requirement. Instacar is not directed at children and is not designed, marketed, or intended for use by anyone under 18.

2. Zero-Tolerance Statement

Instacar strictly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including but not limited to:

• Uploading, sharing, soliciting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, including photorealistic or AI-generated depictions.
• Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
• Sextortion or any attempt to coerce, threaten, or blackmail a minor for sexual content or acts.
• Trafficking or attempted trafficking of a minor for sexual purposes.
• Sexualization of minors in any text, image, video, or other content shared on or through the App.
• Any other conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a child, whether or not explicitly listed above.

Any account found to violate these standards will be immediately and permanently banned, and any associated content will be removed. Instacar cooperates fully with law enforcement and child safety organizations in investigating and addressing such conduct.

3. Definitions

CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation) refers to content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.

CSAM (child sexual abuse material) is illegal material consisting of any visual depiction — including photographs, videos, or computer-generated imagery — involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

4. Prevention & Safety Measures

Instacar takes the following steps to prevent CSAE on the platform:

• Age gating at signup: account creation requires the user to affirm they are 18 or older.
• Content moderation: user-uploaded photos and posts are subject to review, including automated screening and human moderation, to detect and remove prohibited content.
• Proactive detection: Instacar uses industry-standard tools and hash-matching technology, where applicable, to identify known CSAM and prevent its distribution.
• Account enforcement: accounts that violate this policy are suspended or permanently banned, and repeat or severe violations result in immediate termination.
• Staff training: personnel responsible for content moderation and trust & safety are trained to recognize and escalate CSAE-related content and behavior.

5. How to Report a Concern

Instacar provides an in-app mechanism for users to report content, accounts, or behavior without needing to leave the App. Users can also reach us directly through the channels below. All reports are treated seriously and confidentially.

• In-app reporting: use the "Report" option available on any user profile, post, comment, or photo within the Instacar app.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement immediately. In the United States, reports of suspected CSAM can also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

6. Our Response to Reports

When Instacar receives a report or otherwise becomes aware of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we will:

1. Review the reported content or account promptly.
2. Remove any confirmed CSAM and disable the associated account.
3. Preserve relevant evidence as required by law.
4. Report confirmed or suspected CSAM to NCMEC and/or relevant law enforcement authorities, as required or appropriate under applicable law.
5. Cooperate with law enforcement investigations related to child safety.

7. Legal Compliance

Instacar complies with applicable child safety laws, including obligations to report apparent CSAM to NCMEC where required (such as under U.S. federal law, 18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and cooperates with law enforcement and regulators globally to address CSAE. These standards are informed by, and consistent with, the Tech Coalition's Child Safety Standards and Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
